With the arrival of fall, the mood, pace of life, and population of the Lubbock area shifts into over drive. Many of us are hopeful that our favorite football team will have a winning season. Here are the Roosevelt Eagle, Slaton Tiger and Tech Tech Red Raider football schedules for your reference. The POA Beautification Committee has chosen 2 lovely properties to recognize as "The Yard of the Month" in September: #1 Coyote Circle (Ken and Missy Smith) and #20 Sioux Trail. (John Kelley).

Support Local Businesses
In Ransom Canyon we have some outstanding local businesses! Opening the week of September 10th is the Sun Kissed Tanning Salon. To keep your lovely tan all year round, contact Amy at 806-392-1622.
Also many of us have opened our front door on a recent Wednesday evening to find the owners of Ransom Canyon’s only (and awesome!) restaurant standing on our porch. Chef Antonio & Sabrina Piña and Rich & Allison Smith are the friendly faces of Farm to Fork. In the interest of developing a “canyon first” business, they are offering a 10% discount to RC residents, on each visit (through September). This is a great opportunity to become acquainted with this canyon business and to enjoy local, fresh, crazy good cuisine!”
News from the RC Library
Grab your towel and get ready for Water Wars! Join us at the library at noon on September 22nd for some soggy fun! As a reminder our library hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:30-6 from and Saturdays 12-3.
