The Echo
October 2026
Ransom Canyon Property Owners Association
Well, we made it through another HOT West Texas summer! The calendar says October, which means cooler weather is on the way… although around here, we all know better than to put away the shorts just yet.
Still, there’s something special about October in Ransom Canyon. The mornings start feeling a little cooler, evenings on the porch get a little longer, and before we know it, the Canyon walls are beginning to show off their fall colors. It’s one of the best times of year to call this little corner of West Texas home.
September was a busy month behind the scenes. Plans for new trees at Angel Point are moving forward, we’re working through irrigation solutions to keep our community spaces looking their best, and preparations continue for the upcoming Ranch House ceiling and insulation project. The Board has also been tackling some of the less glamorous, but very important, work involving finances, taxes, property matters, policies, and planning for the future of our community.
There are several exciting things taking shape as we head into fall, and this month’s newsletter will bring you up to speed on what’s happening, what’s coming next, and a few things you’ll want to have on your radar.
In the meantime, enjoy the changing season. Take the golf cart out, wave at your neighbors, watch for the deer, spend an evening by the lake, and soak up one of those Ransom Canyon sunsets that reminds us why we love living here.
Grab your coffee, or whatever you prefer for porch-sitting, and read on.
Here’s to cooler temperatures, Friday night lights, good neighbors, beautiful sunsets, and another great month in Ransom Canyon. Happy October! 🍁
